Support Our Mission: Vocations, Youth Ministry, and Campus Ministry

Every August, the Diocese of Peterborough holds a special collection to support three vital ministries: Vocations, Youth Ministry, and Campus Ministry. These ministries are essential in nurturing the spiritual growth and development of our community. Your contribution helps us continue our mission to cultivate future leaders of our faith, empower our youth, and provide spiritual guidance to university and college students. This year, the Special Collection for Vocations, Youth Ministry, and Campus Ministry will be collected at Sunday Mass on the weekend of August 4-5. You can also give online by filling out the form below.

Vocations: Nurturing Future Priests

Supporting vocations ensures that we have dedicated and well-prepared priests to lead our parishes and serve our communities. Your donation helps fund the education and formation of seminarians, providing them with the resources they need to grow in their calling.

Deacon Peter Bissonnette has travelled many miles, physically and spiritually, to discover God's calling to the priesthood. He shared the story of that journey, revealing how a meeting with the Diocese of Peterborough's Director of Vocations helped him find his way.

Youth Ministry: Empowering Our Youth

Youth ministry programs are crucial in guiding young people through their faith journey. These programs provide a safe and nurturing environment where youth can explore their faith, build strong community bonds, and develop into active members of the Church. Your support helps us offer impactful youth programs that inspire and empower the next generation.

Campus Ministry: Supporting University Students

Campus ministry provides essential spiritual support to university and college students. These programs offer a place for students to deepen their faith, find community, and receive guidance during a pivotal time in their lives. Your generosity ensures that we can continue to offer meaningful support and resources to students navigating their academic and spiritual journeys.

Make a Difference Today

Your contribution to the Annual August Special Collection directly impacts the lives of seminarians, young people, and university students. Please consider making a donation today to support these vital ministries. To make a donation, simply fill out the form below. Together, we can nurture the faith and future of our community.
